Black Walnut Bowl - V Shape Medium

Black Walnut Bowl - V Shape Medium
We did our best to show you why we are in love with Colorado Black Walnut—and share a new word for your Scrabble game: Chatoyance. Cross-grains in this species, and often in Cottonwood, create a stunning Mother-of-Pearl sheen in the light. In person, you’ll see some beautiful purples in the color spectrum.
It was harvested from a ranch in Berthoud, Colorado after a blight devastated this species around 2015. The stunning windbreak of Black Walnut was nearly 120 years old.
This beauty holds about 4 good salad servings, or more depending on your green leafy eaters.
