This mongo-sized Box Elder bowl is meant to be the family favorite. It does everything! Mix several loaves of bread, holds four big bunches of bananas, a Saturday night film festival worth of popcorn. It could hold three puppies or four kitties for a silly photo.

Box Elder is a species variation of Maple with beautiful blond grains and brown/red accents. We fondly describe the upper edge as a French Lip…a farm kitchen style holding edge for kneading dough.

Harvested in East Park Hill across from the Odyssey School, the tree was nearly 90 years old.

This bowl will be available May 31 and June 1—but maybe not after the Park Hill Art Festival!
