Hefty and thick, this is a great piece from the Country Club neighborhood in Denver.

The crosscut is from two branches. It also comes with a fun adjective: Chatoyance. The grains have a pearlescent sheen.

We don’t recommend using this as a trivet for super-hot items (we are still testing how hot), but for general use it’s perfect! (We would rather our tester have a burn mark than yours!)
